The William Morris Room
Named after the famous interior designer, the William Morris Room is the main function suite at Mellington Hall Hotel.
The William Morris original gold leaf painted ceiling is the major feature of this spacious room, indeed this painting was the inspiration for a new brand identity for Mellington Hall Hotel that is being introduced throughout 2014.

It is the ideal venue for conferences, wedding receptions and other organised entertainment where the sprung pine flooring is ideal for dancing the night away before a well deserved drink at the private bar.
The original title for this room was the Handsome Drawing Room and it is easy to see why. In addition to the William Morris ceiling painting is an original feature fireplace with Italian marble fire surround and brass fittings, highly polished skirting and large mullion windows overlooking the terrace gardens and lawn.
The William Morris Room is bright and spacious but its original features create an ambience of luxury and opulence, with large windows which over look the gardens and a door which opens to a patio area, perfect for pre-dinner drinks on a sunny evening. The stunning William Morris Room is one reason why Mellington Hall Hotel was voted one of Wales’ leading wedding venues.
